I've been a patient of Dr. Carlile's for well over a decade and I have to say I've been very pleased every step of the way. They discovered an aged and faulty root canal a few years back. Both the hygienist and dentist were watchful at each checkup. A year ago, Dr. Carlile said, "it's time," to which I completely agreed. We began the process of the implant; a procedure that sounds scary, but wasn't! The new crown fits and feels like my own tooth. I'm very pleased with the care there and so are my kids and it's not just the "treasure cupboard" that keeps them coming back!

I met Dr. Carlile 12 years ago, I was 37 and had neglected my teeth for longer than I care to admit. I was terrified of the Dentist, absolutely terrified, plus I needed a lot of work. I was so nervous that my bottom jaw would not stop shaking, he had to put a kind of brace on my jaw just to work on me.

I went every 3 months for 2 1/2 years. I am now going to be 50 and my teeth are in great shape. But that's not really the point. It was the quality of care I received, not just from Dr. Carlile, but his entire staff! They are commited 1000% to my well being. They actually care, and that is worth a great deal to me.

Now I go twice a year and my teeth are in great shape. I do not need a brace and I will never "enjoy" going to the Dentist, but I never fear it any more, as long as I have Dr. Carlile, I know my teeth will be terrific.

On a last note, if you have a dental emergency just call Connie, she will move Heaven and Earth to take care of you!

A good lawyer, dentist, doctor, plumber, auto mechanic, veterinarian . . . so hard to find . . . and even more so when you move to a new area. I live with the good the lawyer, but the rest I had to find when we moved to Skaneateles two years ago from Rochester (where we had lived for about 40 years). My daughter had asked around and gotten Dr. Carlile as a recommendation when she and her family moved to Skaneateles the previous year and they all were pleased with Dr. Carlile...even their 10 year old daughter. But it was still with apprehension that I decided to try a new dentist in Skaneateles rather than commute to my Rochester dentist...whom it had taken me years to find! I'm VERY particular... so I was surprised and delighted to find that Dr. Carlile and his staff were professional, knowledgeable, personable, punctual, and gentle. The ultimate test was a dental emergency...a filling popped out and even though the office was closed for the holiday, Dr. Carlile saw me right away (who does that anymore?!) and saved my day and holiday dinner!

I have been a patient of Dr. Carlile's since I first moved to Syracuse 10 years ago, and what a difference finding the right dentist makes! I had moved up here from NYC, and it was so wonderful to find a practice where everyone, including the front desk staff is friendly, patient, and helpful! The thing that Dr. Carlile did for me FIRST was talk me out of expensive porcelain veneers, which my Manhattan dentist had told me I needed (and would cost over $7,000)! Dr. Carlile solved my problem with a long lasting and artfully done bonding that cost me $187!

He always makes time for me and my dental needs, his staff is very welcoming and helpful. When the doctor tells me I need something done, I know I need it done. He does not do superflous dental work on his patients. I rarely wait more than a few minutes in the waiting room,and the staff is fantastic about scheduling appointments around my needs.
